These are the stuffs that I bought the other day - it's kind of preparing for the trip to Greece next week. I haven't been travelled for a while since the last trip to Barcelona in 2013 so I can't wait to see the sun and beaches in Santorini!
These two accessories are from New look and they were on buy one get one free offer. I wanted to get some more but I was in a rush that day so I just randomly picked two pieces up and I liked them! The peacock feather headband is so pretty, so vintage and so Indian style. Bohemian is one of the most popular trends this summer so I thought may be I should give this style a go and perhaps it will go well with the ancient environment in Athens.
The silver necklace is a two pieces necklace which you can wear one at a time or both together. Personally, I like the round piece more because I think it will look cool on any outfit while the one with jewels on looks more feminine and girly. I find that accessorising is so important in an outfit, it could instantly transform your look into a big statement and make a huge difference. Accessorising could give multiple looks to your wardrobe in one outfit - just simply change your jewelries or shoes. A pretty top or an A- line skirt may only last for a season or so but a piece of mixable and statement accessory will definitely last for decades and work on any outfit and any occasion.
I have never purchased a bronzer before and I don't know what kind of bronzer suits me the best so I just randomly picked this Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer - Rock on world. Its shimmery copper colour definitely caught my eyes when I walked pass the Revolution counter in Superdrug and when I tried it on my hand it felt so pigmented. I have quite yellowish skin tone and my skin looks quite dull so I thought a shimmery bronzer will make me look more healthy and glowy. Then I researched it immediately at the store, I had read some good reviews about it and it's good value for money ( just £4!) so I decided to give it a go. It claims that it provides a natural looking colour which lasts all day and I hope it pays off.
I have obsessed with this L'oreal skin perfection perk- up moisturiser recently and I repurchased it ( they were on buy one get one free offer at Superdrug, £11.99 for two!). It claims it instantly reduces the appearance of signs of fatigue, gives daily 24hr moisture kick and make skin looks fuller and plumper. It works! It works amazingly especially in the part of moisturising! I have very dry skin but this moisturiser keeps my skin hydrated for all day and won't leave my skin shine or excess oil. However, the only disadvantage is the low SPF20 which is not enough in summer even for daily activities.
When you squeeze the cream out of the tube, the colour is white like most of the moisturiser but when you apply on the skin, the smart micro- pearl blend with the skin on contact for unified looking skin tone ( you will see the colour difference when you use a cotton pad swipe over your face ) which instantly concealed the blemish slightly and help to improve skin quality. Also, I love the design of the packaging - so pinky and orangy which feels so summery :D yeah!
I have already owned a set of Eco Tools Bamboo Brush Set and I loved them so much, so I purchased another set of Eco Tools brush set for a foundation, shadow and angled blush brush ( I liked the floral print on the handle in this set!). They are really good and great value for money - ultra soft bristles and gives you a really good blend at just £11.99 for 5 pieces. I also like the name “eco” as it sounds so natural and green.
After the shopping on beauty and accessories, I wanted to do some shopping on clothing - I wanted to buy a pair of heeled sandals, a off shoulder top, some denim shorts and more! Unfortunately, I am leaving very soon so I don't want to stock in too much stuffs :(
